Many of you have already heard that I have an adventure coming up. On November 16th I am going to the hospital for surgery to treat my bicuspid aortic valve. I'm planning to document my adventure here on my own personal website: it saves you from the endless ads on Facebook and gives me a chance to share information with some choice.
Some of you may be like me and interested in finding out more of the fascinating science that goes into heart surgery. Others may say, well, "yuck." So I'll save you from seeing the detail but focus a bit for everyone on the news that goes along with heart surgery.
